Supporting the best management teams is fundamental to successful private equity investing. Our ethos is one of partnership - to be a supportive and knowledgeable investor behind management teams with whom we share a close cultural fit – after all we are the owners of our own business. Therefore, in addition to our sector expertise, we have also established clear principles on how we work with management teams and have invested ourselves in significant Portfolio Support infrastructure.

We typically work with companies that are managing significant revenue growth. As a result when making an investment we are almost always the sole equity investor working alongside management to ensure the most direct lines for communication and decision making. We are also careful to put in place the most appropriate capital structure, so as not to impact the ability of the company to grow.

QH Capital maintains a large, well invested in-house Portfolio Team that has distinct focus areas. The Portfolio Team interacts with our investee companies at both Board and Project levels and is intended to represent a flexible resource that can be used by and alongside management when value can be added to the investment. Experienced Portfolio Directors work alongside management and the sector team deal leaders on the Boards of our investee companies. These Directors bring industry knowledge, real-world experience of the operational and management challenges that entrepreneurs and managers face, and significant Private Equity experience.
