QH Capital targets buyouts and renewable energy generation projects between €500 K and € 20 million in value. Within our sectors, we look for those small and medium sized companies that have established a strong position within an industry niche but which have the potential to grow further - to become the clear market leader within their region, or to scale internationally - creating a true industry champion. Within Europe there is a high volume of companies with proven financial performance and defensible market positions, but which still have plenty of room to grow. These companies have multiple opportunities for operational improvement, yet are also large enough to attract quality management and offer multiple exit options across market cycles.

Our investment approach is designed to uncover such opportunities. Beyond our sector focus, we specifically concentrate our diligence on the key business model characteristics which define a strong industry position and, just as importantly, demonstrate the potential for growth and performance improvement. Our rigorously applied evaluation method for new opportunities, informed by experiences gained from multiple prior investments in the same sub-sectors; allow us to make rapid and well-informed judgments and to apply significant resources behind those opportunities where we are the right investment partner for the next stage in that company’s development.
